My hearty congratulations – not just on the decisive win by a really impressive team – but on the obvious spirit of the team and all the supporters. I had a wonderful day and found the community atmosphere brilliant. I spoke to many people and found their sense of involvement and achievement through Patrician College Blacktown a wonderful tribute to what began 60 years ago. Great organisation and care of your supporters from start to finish.
Br Phil Mulhall
Congratulations to all involved. We were represented by some outstanding young men and I could not be prouder to be called a Patrician teacher. Great Day. Great result. History achieved.
Mr Mark Strong
What a wonderfully exciting Fathers’ Day! Congratulations to the mighty, combined effort of the “Patties” boys winning the GIO cup. They were winners on and off the field. While the players on the field proved their skill and expertise with the ball, the large turn out of their supporters in the stands stood tall with their exemplary behaviour. They chanted, they cheered and they shouted encouraging advice to their team, drowning the deafening drums and even regaled the spectators with humorous comments. Thanks for the entertainment!
Jeanne and Victor D’Morias (parents of Mr Van D’Morias-team trainer)
Congratulations on the fabulous win. Everyone must be thrilled.
Mr John Gildea, Catholic Education Office
I must extend my congratulations to not only the coaching staff but the entire community. It was amazing to be a part of the history of this fantastic community. I spoke to my Godfather at the game, who was there as a Cronulla local and an avid league fan and he was astounded at the sea of Blue and Gold. A great deal of work was done to get so many supporters out there and I suspect the players benefited from it. Hopefully today was the start of a proud dynasty.
Mr Chris Ferry
Earnest congratulations to Patrician Brothers’ College on this magnificent achievement. A great display of College spirit in the large numbers who journeyed to the Shire to lend support to the gallant team that had won its way into the Schoolboys’ Cup Final from a starting line-up of over 450 schools. And what a display by the boys against the specialist Sports’ school, Endeavour High ? The ‘Pattie Boys’ were slick and focused, looking fitter and faster as the game went on. An historic day for the College. What a wonderful way to mark the Diamond Jubilee of PBCB.
Br Aengus Kavanagh

Congratulations on your school’s success in the Grand Final of the 2012 GIO Schoolboy Cup. Winning a grand final is always a special event for the individuals involved as well as the broader community. Winning a prestigious competition like this, and for the first time, only adds to that excitement. Patrician Brothers’ Blacktown has earned itself quite a distinguished reputation in Rugby League circles evident by the number of players in junior representative football and in the National Rugby League. I look forward to your title defence in 2013.
